Final from the Expo.

Ethan Rowe leads the Panthers with 26, as PHS improves to 11-7. Rowe moves into 8th Place in Points all-time at Pikeville High School with his effort tonight.

Big start by Pikeville allowed them to weather the storm later in the game when Kasongo went out early in the 3rd. Kasongo played well early getting 9 pts and 8 boards in the first half. Silvers, May, Johnson all stepped up big for freshman. Hamilton was solid as well. Big win for this program.

7th straight win for the Panthers over Paintsville, and big congrats to Coach Williams on his first victory over the legend, Bill Mike Runyon.

Paintsville never gave up and played really well the 2nd half and were without Trimble, who is battling the flu.

Pikeville advances to play in the 15th Region All "A" Championship Saturday Night at 8:15 versus presumably Lawrence County.

Big, big win. 1 more to do something that has not been done in 20 years at Pikeville! HAIL PIKEVILLE!
Great win for Pikeville. Lawrence County is playing as well as anybody. Should be a great game.
Great 2nd half effort by the Tigers. Cut the lead to 1 with 29.5 left to play. Had the chances to take the lead. Just gotta take care of the ball better in crunch time.
Another 1st half seals the Tigers fate. Tigers only had 2 fouls in the 1st half and ONLY ONE was by a starter. Gotta have start putting 4 qrts together.
Nice win for Pike

Paintsville held Pikeville to only 4 FGs in the second half. Pikeville was 19/22 from the stripe in the 2nd half.
If Pikeville can get Ray going like he knows he can play, they can be extremely dangerous.
Solid showing in second half with the no quit attitude from the Tigers. Holding Pikeville to 4 fg's in the second half only to lose it from the free throw line says a lot. Congrats to Pikeville on the win.
