I see that Dunbar went 20-17 last year, did you look for them to be better this year? What do they have for pitching? Are they a hitting team?

They have everyone back except 1-2 players. All three pitchers are back. None are dominating, but all are pretty solid and have been pitching for a number of years. Best hitters are all back from last year except one.
The main addition is the coaching. Jenny Hill was a three time All-American at Arizona which won 3 National Titles in her time there:Shaking: and was the NCAA player of the year in the mid 90's. She has added a great group of coaches to her staff.

I could not agree more. Coach Hill is fantastic and I see nothing but good things for PLD. Give her a couple of years to get the girls use to her system (may not even take that long) If they leave her alone and let her do things her way than all will be good at PLD. I would not be surprise to see young ladies transfer in order to play for her. Great job PLD for hiring her. I have to say both PLD and Lafayette made some good coaching decisions concerning fastpitch.

Jenny Hill was a great player, but that doesn't always make you a great coach. I watched the 12u team she coached last year and they were a below average hitting team. Now that doesn't mean she's not a good coach, maybe the players weren't that good.

Bob your right, great players don't make great coaches sometimes. She will have to prove herself.
