Am I missing something by not finding a great football or basketball historic website for Kentucky high school football or basketball? Love the Riherds scoreboard and it's miles ahead of other states, but I've never found a great historic site like this one that some Georgia folks have for football in their state. http://ghsfha.org/index.php
The KYHSSPORTS website is awesome.
There is some information on the KHSAA website here:

http://khsaa.org/sports/fall/football/

Click on the football records header.

There is a lot of historical information concerning Highlands football here:

http://www.highlands-bluebirds.com/ssp/home

Click on the "history" link on the left and select what you are interested in. Season records and game results go back to 1915, when Highlands started playing football.

It might be nice if the KYHSSPORTS website linked to the relevant pages on the Highlands website since there is no information concerning Highlands on the KYHSSPORTS site.
^ That's a Madisonville website, and I don't think Highlands has ever played Madisonville. All the schools listed have played Madisonville in football before

Ahhh. I assumed it was a bit more generic than just schools that played Madisonville. To bad there is not a more generic statewide website. At least the football records are easily accessible on the KHSAA website.

Highlands has played Madisonville twice. In 1970, Highlands defeated Madisonville (with Alfred "Sonny" Collins) 27-14 at the Recreation Bowl in Mt. Sterling in game one of the season. Then again Highlands defeated Madisonville 30-13 at UK's Stoll Field in Lexington for the state class AA championship. Madisonville finished 12-2 for the season. Highlands was 14-0.

So, Highlands does belong on the Madisonville's list.

Actually its a great site for "State Football" tournament results back to '59. Many years include old final Lit Ratings and UPI and AP polls. A couple of years have old All-State teams. Loved it.
