I wanted to make one especially for 2012..

Before anyone tries I reject the potential nomination for best female poster because I fail to meet the qualifications. lol

It would be nice for the mods to get together and vote on this for regular members.
When we do this we see a lot of mods being mentioned, mostly due to the fact that were on here the most and post more.

Appreciate the honors! :Thumbs: Not really sure if I would fall under the category...joined late November, 1 year ago. Feels like yesterday haha.

As for mine...
Rookie of the year: Do-Double-gg - He has been pretty active on the boards and a good contributor. I enjoy reading his posts.

Best Poster: I am going with Strikeout King for this one. Always on his game by providing excellent topics for discussion.

Best Athlete: I hate to say it, but LeBron is the best in the game today.

Funniest Poster: A tie between Wideleft01 and Sur64. Both with some funny topics this year.

Most Calm: This one would once again go to J-Rod or Jarons...both very tame.

Biggest Troll: I slacked on this toward the end of the year in football, I've gotta give it to Sur64 this year. He did a good job.

Best Male Poster: Strikeout King or Stardust.

Best Female Poster: This one is too close to call, I would give it to Granny Bear. Other nominees are RIUTG, Spud6, or Vundy.

Poster of the Year: Stardust. Hit 100k posts this year, a milestone on this site and probably one of the quickest nationally, on any sports site, to reach that mark. A legend to BGR.

Friendly Award - J-Rod. One of the nicests posters on here.

Streaky Award (for posters who are on and off with BGR) - HawksRule
To second Wildcat, the needs to come back award - Tidehoss and Aslan, both enjoyable posters.
