I look at Rowan county as an example. They played Mad.Southern( solid) and Morgan ( pretty good) and, and, well, They played Mad. Southern.
They finished 5-5 non-district with 6 or 7 games that should have been a given.
What kind of message does this send?:thatsfunn

Its a rebuilding process there, there is know way they would have won 5 games if they stayed in the district with the ashlands, the boyd co., the Lawrence Co and the Johnson Centrals. So yes this was a good move, also it could have been a move were they wanted them to move classes and they refused to also.
Yes and No

It all depends if the principal is serious about the football program....look at Betsy Layne they have coaches coming in and out all the time and you cant run a program like that. But if the school would stick with a coach a few years while out of district play it can and would be a good thing. And you cant expect a coach to come his first season and win them all. He will be rebuilding and the kids will be learning every game and then the coach would also need to keep it fun for the kids and keep them interested in the program.
It helps get the team used to winning.
