GOD BLESS OUR VETERANS
We owe a debt of gratitude each day throughout the year,
To Veterans who risked their lives to keep us free from fear.
They bravely faced the enemy, and fought with courage true.
So we should not forget -- but give them honor that is due.
Yes, many are disabled, and they face a lonely life,
But we can help to ease their pain, and rid their hearts of strife,
By writing notes, and sending gifts, so they will know we care,
And telling them that we will be remembering them in prayer.
We love our flag that flies o’er our sweet land of liberty,
And also love the veterans who fought to keep us free.
And so we pray the Lord will bless each Veteran today,
And let them know within our thankful hearts they’ll always stay.

I love all the Veterans. I know some of you personally who I served with in the U.S. Army. This is a shout out to all of you at Ft Benning, Aberdeen proving grounds, Ft Bragg and a special shout out to all of you in the 82nd Airborne. I love you all!!!
