I saw this listed on Preps and figured I would see what the public's view on this was.

In my opinion: Top 5 Players

1. Lebron James
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Steve Nash
4. Tim Duncan
5. Chris Paul

Now for my starting 5:

PG- Allen Iverson-Quickest guard in the game, brings a great performance every night and flat out loves this game.
SG- Ray Allen-Always a place for a shooter on any team, and what better than an athletic shooter, who goes strong to the basket, and is one heck of a defender.
SF- Lebron James-Is there any way to argue against this? If this man isn't the second-coming of Jordan than I don't know who is.
PF- Tim Duncan-When this man is on, he doesn't get stopped, he finds any way he can to score, he will throw a hook, power move, or shoot the jumper, the best big man in the game right now.
C- Ben Wallace-4 out of the last 5 Defensive Player of the Year awards, that is insane. Most feared player in the league, even Ron Artest passed fighting him in Auburn Hills to fight the crowd. Has to start, no question.

I like that list and my starting 5 would be....

PG- Chauncey Billups
SG- Richard Hamilton
PF- Rasheed Wallace
SF- Tayshaun Prince
C- Ben Wallace

Yes that's right. I'd take the Pistons starting 5 over any mix of starting 5's in the country. If you got a bunch of players like Kobe, AI, Shaq, D-Wade, etc. playing on one team then you'd have nothing but turmoil. I just don't think anyone can hang with the Pistons starting 5.

Shaq's old and not any good anymore

Your post is ridiculous. Shaq is 34 years old and is in as good of shape as he's been since his Lakers era. He's still the most dominant player in the league without a doubt and will have a few more championships to add to his already 3 before he retires IMO....
Duncan isn't top 5 this year, he is having a horrible season.
Top 5 PLayers:
Dwayne Wade
Ben Wallace
Koby Bryant
Tim Duncan
Steve Nash

Steve Nash
Dwayne Wade

This is either his lowest point average or second lowest of his career. He's still powerful, but I don't think he's as powerful
