Bourbon Co. 70, Powell Co. 7: Senior Kentayvous Hopkins rushed eight times for three TDs and 181 yards, the bulk of which came on two scoring plays â an 80-yard blast in the second quarter and a 70-yard run that put the Colonels (8-0) on the scoreboard first.
Sophomore linebacker Brent Hollman, who finished the game with 10 tackles, led a Colonels defense that held the Pirates (1-7) to just one score, a Chance Snowden 2-yard TD rush in the first quarter. Hollman also carried twice on offense, going for 71 yards and a two TDs.
