The following is a list of each team in the region tournament and their combined record against 15th region tournament teams.
Allen Central (11-0)
East Ridge (9-3)
Pikeville (7-6)
Betsy Layne (5-5)
Paintsville (5-5)
Belfry (4-7)
Johnson Central (3-7)
Pike Central (0-11)
Obviously, Allen Central is the big favorite here and deservedly so. East Ridge, with the right draw, could be in the championship. Betsy Layne and Pikeville's records are deceiving. Betsy Layne has 4 losses to Allen Central, and Pikeville has 4 losses to East Ridge and both BL and Pikeville have been able to play those teams very close in all 4 matches. As an ER guy, I am happy with the fact Pikeville is automatically on the other side of the bracket, and I'm sure AC people are glad that BL is automatically on the opposite side of the bracket as well. Cannot wait for the draw on Sunday - hope it's kind to us!
