Back in June Lockheed Martin said they may send out WARN notices to all 123,000 of its employees, just before the elections. In July the labor department said it would be inappropriate for the Lockhead to to issue notices of potential layoffs. On Friday the Obama administration issued new guidance intended for defense contractors such as Lockhead, the labor department told contractors they would be compensated (by tax payers) for legal cost if layoffs occured due to contract coancellations, but only if they followed the Labor guidence.
I guess Barry wants to wait until after the election to send out these notices, maybe in time for Christmas, after all Christmas is just another day of the week for the Obamas.
