Pike Central moved to 5-1 on the year with a 35-6 win over East Ridge.
Pike Central played without Wes Pugh in the 2nd half, he went down with a apparent ankle injury...but I'm sure he'll be fine.
Marcus Johnson carried the load for PC and scored most of their TD's.
Also, I should point out that the 4th quarter was completely a running clock even tho they didn't meet the requirements to get a running clock...unless I am unaware about the new rules.
A East Ridge player was seriously injured early in the 3rd quarter, had to be taken out in a ambulance...I thought that might have been the reason for the running clock.
