The good teams play pretty good defense. That's all that matters when it is all said and done anyway.
Look at Somerset vs. Breathitt. Two very good teams who will be competing for their respective state titles, defense definitely was key.
When it comes to these second tier teams I'd rather see 56-52 then 18-14. The same Pburg team who put up over 80 on an undefeated Pike Central team only scored 6 points from a busted coverage against clearly the best team on their schedule the week prior.
