Coach Cecil said it best in the post game interview, we have a good jv team. No excuses in the loss, but Lawrence Co. had alot of injuries comming into the game and even more after the game. Letcher was more physical on both sides of the ball. Simply put it was men against boys. Great effort dawgs, try to get healthy and come back next week with a win.:Thumbs:

Great team effort by the Cougars, much needed win! Tyree and Hall both ran the ball real good tonight. Great blocking by the O line. Defense had their best showing yet, showed alot of enthusiasm and heart. Big Willy got great penetration and caused trouble for LC's running game. Keith Boggs was in the backfield all night and had an all around great game. This was the kind of team effort that could get the cougars some wins this season. Several different recievers caught the ball and had some good gains after the catch. AGAIN, MUCH NEEDED WIN FOR THE COUGARS!
