Warren Central had 438 total yards. Mayfield had 250. The Cardinals were just down by six with 2 mins to go and WC drove down the field with ease to end the scoring. Mayfield just couldn't stop the jet sweep. Central just wore the Cardinals down. Congrats to WC on the win.
Mayfield may of loss this game but all in all its an moral victory showing that they will contend for a state title again in Class A and they are a favorite to win it all.
Im thinking this is just what Mayfield needed, that is not being disrespectful, but maybe just maybe they will not forget this loss and turn it into a positive rest of the season
