3 UK students were sued by numerous record companies for illegally downloading songs in November. Combined the three downloaded no more than 20 songs. The three have remained unnamed as the companies need a subpoena before UK can name who the students were.
The question is, do you think this is right?
It's not right to those people but it could happen to anybody, and everybody knows that...It's just a risk you're willing to take....
Since both of you go to UK....do you do it?
I did until I read about this.
I dont think that its right seeing that some ppl have downloaded about 1,000 songs and they didn't get in any trouble for it.
I still do it, but I guess thats a risk you have to take. Im not sure if they were intentionally focusing on UK students as much as they were random people.
If you do download music, don't share it. I think that's where all the trouble is coming from.
