Seeing how upset Somerset fans were with Field's Poll from the LHL,,, I assume this won't sit well either.
I think Somerset should be at 3 or 4 at the worst. Other than that 2A looks about right IMO. That is for now anyway.
Somerset should be up higher.

putting somerset that low is a crime, they probably have more coming back from last years team than any other 2A school in the state.

owen county went 11 - 1 were thelove they have a ton of talnet coming back and somerset should be higher
Somerset should be no lower than 3rd. With their schedule they will have plenty of chances to move up.
Only thing worse than Somerset at 7 is Danville getting a first place vote. Another swing and a miss.
And for the record, no Somerset fans were complaining about our spot in the other poll. We were simply pointing out how terrible it was as a whole.
I bet the coaches don't prepare for us like we are ranked 7th.

Why is everyone getting so upset about Somerset? There are some good teams above them in this ranking and there are many teams that can and will swap places in the end.
This preseason poll is not a great starting point for everyone but they are a starting point none the less. This poll will change drastically over the next couple of weeks. 11th ranking and below even. I don't think Somerset is right or M'boro over Leslie Co. among others.

Not upset, just don't think it's the right call. We've been top 5 in two classes for each of the last three years. Now we return what may be our strongest team in the last four years and we are 7th behind a team that we have owned in the last four meetings.
Besides, what are we supposed to do with these polls, just look at them? They were posted to discuss them and to give our opinions and arguments about them.
The only poll that matters is the last one. However as a fan they were put out for us. Coaches don't give a Crap about them, they just want their Team to perform at a top rate. Somerset will prove to all where they should be when the Season get's on the way, which is in 3 days now. Go Jumpers.

Exactly! Pre-season polls are good to spark discussion and to line a birdscage and not much more...the poll in December is the only one that matters.
