The Class of 2013 among the girls’ in the state of Kentucky has a ton of college prospects, including several ranked high nationally.

But it’s a pretty easy call for the top spot.

Owensboro Catholic star Becca Greenwell missed her junior season with a knee injury but is back and playing and dominating again. She’ll go down as one of the best players – and top scorers – in state history.

Greenwell is no doubt the best player in this class with Makayla Epps still at No. 2.

Here’s a look at the top 25:

• 1. Becca Greenwell, Owensboro Catholic, 6-1, G – She’s back from a knee injury and one of the best we’ve seen in this state for quite some time.

• 2. Makayla Epps, Marion County, 5-10, G – The Louisville commitment is considered one of the top 100 prospects in the country.

• 3. Kyvin Goodin-Rogers, 6-2, F – She’s been steady in her improvement; recently re-opened her recruiting process and I would imagine the calls are rolling in.

• 4. Larryn Brooks, Madison Central, 5-5, G – The Indiana commitment has come a long way, became one of the hottest recruits in the country during the spring.

• 5. China Dow, Christian Academy, 5-11, G – Big-time scorer will be better on college level.

• 6. Ashton Feldhaus, Madison Central, 6-1, F – Has the bloodlines and getting a ton of attention from major Division I schools.

• 7. Kayla Styles, Manual, 6-1, F – Will have to do more for Lady Crimsons with all of those seniors gone, and she is very capable.

• 8. Leah Schaefer, Highlands, 6-1, F – Xavier commitment

• 9. Emily Fox, Lincoln County, 5-8, G – Was so impressive at Sweet 16 last season.
