Read on another site that Athletic Director Gene Heffington was reassigned to Dean of Students and will no longer have any say on hirings. Also read that Powell would be out at Montgomery County here in the next few months.


Anyone have any info?

The only way Powell will be out is if he resigns. 3 board positions open in November, but what I have been told, it takes at least a 4-1 vote against PLUS the State Commissioners approval to remove a super from office.

They ever hire a baseball or softball coach yet?

No coach for either sport has been hired yet.
