BOONE COUNTY 10, BROSSART 6 â Senior shortstop Doug Teegarden smacked a three-run homer in the first inning to lead Boone County to a 10-6 win over Brossart on Thursday.
It was the fourth home run of the season for Teegarden, who cleared the right field fence.
The Rebels trailed, 6-4 entering the bottom of the sixth, but Boone County scored six times in that frame. Junior center fielder Alex McGarr scored the tying run on a wild pitch, and senior right fielder A.J. Quatkemeyer singled to give the Rebels the lead for good.
