Setty, a 2011 Mason County alum and a freshman at Southern Illinois, announced early last week his plan to transfer to a school closer to Maysville due to the medical issues of a family member.

If Setty doesn't have at least a 2.6 GPA when he leaves Carbondale, he counts negatively against Southern Illinois' Academic Progress Report (APR), which if it drops low enough could result in NCAA penalties up to and including a postseason ban.
