On the floor: Wilson started at point guard for four seasons, helping the Crimsons to a 116-20 overall record and the state championship this year. She scored 450 points as a seventh- and eighth-grader on the varsity at Collegiate, then finished her career at Manual with 1,104 points, 531 assists and 503 steals. She averaged 12.8 points, 4.9 steals, 3.2 assists and 2.1 rebounds this season and was named Sweet 16 MVP after scoring 23 points in the title game. She missed the tournament as a junior because of a broken hand.

Off the floor: Her father, Jimmy, played football at the University of Louisville.

Future: Wilson has signed with Purdue University.

Quotable: “You put April on another team and she could have scored 20 or 25 points every single night,” Manual coach Stacy Pendleton said. “The thing about April is that if she needed 25, then she would score 25. But if she needed 10 assists, then that’s what she would do. The only thing that mattered to her is that the team won.”
