Just thought i would check the effect of the bbcor bat by teams listing amount of games and home runs hit.

Example
Team.. 8 games # homeruns.
12 games - - - 2 home runs
Pikeville

10 games - 2 HR (1 Inside the Park)
16 games, 1 hr... way down.
Somerset 10 games 6 homeruns.
Rockcastle County 10 games and 4 homeruns. Three by the same kid.
Clay has 6 homeruns through 12 games. Had another 1 but game got called for rain in the 4th. 6 different kids have hit homers
I think the Freshman Neal from South has 7 or 8 himself.
Hazard--- 18 games 5 home runs
Paintsville 11 Games....2 HRs....Both by Stewart.
Sheldon Clark-12 games-1 h.r.(wood bat)
Owen county 12 games 5 homeruns and 1 in the park
Wolfe County...757*...all by Creech.
Harlan County 15 games, 2 home runs. 1 by Fields and 1 by Boggs
South Laurel has hit at least 15 this year. Of course 7 of those are by Neal. From what I can see, the bats are not that dead if you square one up. They just obviously have a smaller sweet spot. What I think the biggest problem is, is that its coming back to haunt the dads that just wanted to make sure their kids was swinging the hottest bats going, and would spends hundreds just to make sure they did. They should have been spending that money on lessons or cage time and teaching them to hit and not rely on the bat doing all the work. But thats just my opinion.
Shelby County -16 Games 3 HR, K.Noonan (1), K. Bruner (2)
For what it's worth, both swing the 2011 Red Rip-It Prototype bbcor.
