Mohammad El Akkari scores 113 points pro game

I didn't know where to post this since it's not NBA or college basketball. El Akkari, an alumni of D2 school BYU-Hawaii scored 113 points in a Lebanese pro game last night.

Akkari, who came into the game averaging only 7.6 points per game in 23 contests, made 40-of-69 shots, including 32-of-59 3-pointers, according to fibaasia.net. He made only one free throw.
59 3's?

Sounds like suffocating D.
That's one way to up the average.
I don't care what level the ball is, this was awesome!

For anyone to score 113 points in a game is absolutely incredible.

If this was overseas ball I would say he even had less time to do it in.
i wonder how many assists his teammates had?
Umm.....:yikes:!! This is crazy! :yikes:It's definitely cool but, I don't see how someone averaging less than 8 points a game randomly jacks up 59 three pointers?!
An unbelievable feat was achieved last night during a Lebanese League game when a player passed the triple digit scored points barrier.

The game was played during the Lebanese Final 8 stage of the championship between the teams of Tripoli and Bejjeh. Mohammad El Akkari of Moutahed, playing for the home side scored an incredible 113 points leading his team to a comfortable 173-141 win over their opponents.

The 27 year old player failed to impress in his previous 23 appearances for the club, averaging just 7.6 points, but with his last night's performance his average has skyrocketed to 12 points per game. He made a fantastic 32/59 from behind the arc and thanked his coach and teammates for helping him setting this record.

Naturally El Akkari has become a member of an elite group of players who have managed to score 100 or more points in a single game. In fact, FIBA Asia claims that according to their records he is the first player in any of their National Federations league that has managed to pass the 100 points mark.

But according to TalkBasket archives, he is not the first one. Tony Harris of Swift (Philippines) scored 105 points in his team's win over Ginebra back in 1992, leading his home side to a win 152-147.

The most prominent similar case in a European league was in 1988 when Erman Kunter scored 153 out of Fenerbahce's total of 175 points for a win over Hilalspor.
I could score 100 points if I shot 59 three's too.
30 of 60? Come on now aslan. Thats 50%.
HAd to be the only person on his team lol
