Outlook: Second-year coach Brad Bloomfield guided the Comets to one of the better seasons the school has experienced in a good while. The core of that team is back, including six of the top seven hitters from 2011. Bloomfield also sees an improved defense and a solid pitching staff that consists of four dependable pitchers. Bloomfield said expectations are high.
