Thoughts and predictions?
I would give the advantage to Betsy Layne because of their coach. He has been through many many games with a lot of pressure. No one is better prepared, just ask Pikeville. He has been to 4 state tournaments. He has won 1 all A state title. I think this will be a very close game coming down possibly to a freethrow or a buzzer beater. If his young guards shoot well it won't be that close but they are prone to shoot too quickly sometimes and then their shots don't fall very well. Look for them to have a very disciplined game and control JCs guards.
Unless I am very wrong, this one will be a war!! Very evenly matched game...... B.L. has some nice players and so does J.C. I think J.C. has the edge in the middle and I will give B.L. the edge with the guards. My pic............... In 2 OT's B.L. by 1.
