Congrats nice win.
The fouls at half time were around... Prestonsburg-13 and Pike Central-3.. thats including the T on Coach Pack... Prestonsburg played a good game... they made a few runs but couldn't stop Central... Congrats PCC and good luck in your next game.
WTG PC.  Haley, you had a great game.  Congrats to P-burg on a great season.
Hopefully P'burg will learn from this game and come back hungry next year.  It was nice that they won the district, but when the other three teams barely managed to win  10 games between them that says the competition wasn't too tough.  This group of girls really has a chance to be good next year if they will set their minds to it and work hard over the summer, and develop the attitude that it takes to be winners.  The good teams will all be back at Region, including everyone on Pike Centrals team that dominated them both times they played.  P'burg should win every game in the 58th by 20+ next year, and if they don't it will be because they didn't play well.  It's mental toughness that makes the good teams winners, and that should be the #1 priority in getting ready for next season.  Amber Whitaker is by far the most talented player  in the 58th, and all the rest of the starters have shown the ability to carry the team on any given night, so PHS should be right back at Region next year.  Hopefully in 2007 they will be better prepared to compete.
