who wins and why?

Estill has been playing good ball since the new year started but Danny Wright is tough to beat @ Lee County. Should be a Dandy that should go right down to the wire. I'll go with Estill by 3. 54-51

Lee at home in a close one.

This game is historically close, but this years Lee team is so predictablly inconsistent, it is hard to imagine any outcome with any confidence. I hope Lee plays well, this is a good group of student athletes with great character but seem lost on the floor, at times they just cant score, every game there is one quarter where Lee scores 2 to 6 points and then have to fight from behind. It has killed them all year. I hope Lee can pull one out for the seniors and to just get some confidence that they can play with anyone in our district.

Estill lost to Letcher this evening 68-54 (lee lost 56-43) about the same score. Morris for Estill had 29 pts tonight against Letcher. I wasn't at the game so I'm not sure how he done rebounding and blocking wise


It also looks like this will be a pre-view of the first round of the District Tournament.


Jobbaka, why was both (boys/girls) game times switched? Girls was schedule for 6 and Boys at 8, now it's Boys at 6 and Girls at 8

Jobakka i have watched Lee County play on several occasions and i believe the problem lies in the way the coach substitutes his players in and out so much,hard to develope consistent play like that in my opinion,what do you think? I do believe Lee has a team that can compete for the district title and maybe with some luck win a game in the region.

Estill scores the ball easier than Lee. Lee has problem guarding big men on the inside, so Estill has the big advantage in this one. Estill by 6-10, just because it's at Lee.

I understand why you see this as a possible problem, but only the coach knows his kids and knows what they are prepared for, sometimes i think we need offensive players on the floor more but it is easy for me to be a Coach because i dont have to go to practice ar answer to anyone when the team plays. It is easy to second guess why this or that but it is the coach's decision on who plays and whether we think he is right or wrong we should just support the Bobcats period. This is not meant at nobody, but i have found myself upset over a game or two in my time but when the dust settles its not my opinion that matters. I really like this group of kids and wish them all the best and hope they have success in the near future, i know they deserve good fortunes they work thier a** off for thier school.
