The 6-foot, 180-pound Jackson makes the first team as an athlete after getting votes at quarterback, wide receiver, running back, defensive back and kicker. The last first-teamer to receive votes at more positions was former Male star Michael Bush, who had votes at nine positions.

“He did it all for us,” Jeffersontown coach Gary Weiter said. “He meant everything to us and not just because of his playing ability but because of his attitude. He just has that ‘it’ factor. He’s a winner, and he gets it done.”

Jackson had more than 4,000 all-purpose yards, accounted for 47 touchdowns, made 60 tackles, four interceptions and three fumble recoveries, averaged over 35 yards a punt and returned punts and kicks.

As a single-wing quarterback, Jackson completed 84 of 172 passes for 1,196 yards and 14 TDs. He ran 320 times for 2,237 yards and 29 TDs.

Jackson is expected to visit Indiana State in January and is also hearing from Eastern Kentucky. Western Kentucky, Illinois, Arkansas and Kentucky have been in contact.
