One of four repeat first-team picks, Quick is one of the state’s most electrifying players and helped the Shamrocks to a second consecutive Class 6-A state title and No. 1 ranking in several national polls.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound junior caught 82 passes for 1,434 yards and 21 touchdowns, averaging 17.5 yards a catch. He also ran for 136 yards, completed his only pass attempt for a 36-yard touchdown and had a kick return for a TD.

"He forces defenses to make immediate changes with what we do with him in the passing game," Trinity coach Bob Beatty said. "Are you going to cover down or leave people in the box? By making those decisions, it causes us to simplify the game plan.

"The nice thing about (Quick) is that he knows he still has a lot to learn and absorbs it every day and accepts coaching very well."

Quick has 195 catches for 3,021 yards and 41 TDs for his career, already ranking fifth all-time in receptions, sixth in TDs and 11th in yards. He has 4,084 all-purpose yards.

Quick is considered a top-100 prospect nationally and will be a prized target for college coaches. He already has scholarship offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois and Auburn and looks from many other schools.
