PRP coach Dale Mabrey noted that Jâtown was still getting to know first-year coach Clay Moody back then.
âWe had an experienced team that knew our system, whereas he was still teaching his system,â Mabrey said. âThey have their feet wet now, so it will be a war. Theyâre strong underneath and shoot the ball well.â
Senior Cortez Macklin led PRPâs 96-59 second-round victory over Fern Creek on Wednesday, posting 23 points and nine rebounds. Diondrey Holt hit 8 of 8 shots and scored 21 points to lead Jâtown past Iroquois 77-64 on Tuesday.
