Full Version: When the price gets to high do you opt not to buy

I do this with a lot of different things.

Like Milk when it goes above 2.99 I refuse to buy.

Now I know we as shoppers can not do this for all things but if enough of us would stop paying such high prices for most things, those setting the price would have to lower them or go out of business. The people have the power, but the people are to lazy to use it.
For me, it depends on the intentions of the business. Is demand high enough to make the rise in price reasonable or somewhat understandable, then I might cough up the money. Other than that, they can suck it.

I usually buy the lowest price, generic brands anyway.
When a prostitute demands more than 20 an hour, i dont quit, but i do go to the next street.
Almost 4$ a gallon.

It's around $2.75 at Wal-Mart in Richmond
