I would say they don't even know and probably wont until a week before summer practice starts. They want to wait around for what-ever reason until it's desperation time and then go get some local-yocul to take the job who more than likely doesn't know what a football is. We wont worry about football unil we absolutely have to type of attitudes and it shows. So post it in April, Get no applicants, hire some guy who works at the courthouse, just to have a coach. IS NOT FAIR TO THE KIDS WHAT-SO-EVER!
