Bluegrassrivals

This is far from perfect and will probably not look like any other poll you will see. The top 7 or 8 teams are very easy to figure out. The top 4 are far better, right now, than anyone else.

This season is MUCH harder than previous seasons to put teams in certain spots. The top 30 teams are not hard to figure out but where they fall into certain places is tough. For example, I believe that #16 Assumption could give #5 Butler a good game, if not win.

Owen County does have a pretty good team. I would at least consider putting them in the top 25, as well as Paul Laurence Dunbar.

I'm thinking Adair Co has earned their way in there somewhere. There only loss coming from Marion by 17 @ Marion. Marion beat your #20 team Madison Central by 34 at Madison Central.

Okay y'all. I appreciate the input so far, where do I place them and who moves out? That is the biggest problem I have every time. Is Madison Central really not a Top 25 team?

I may sound snotty, but I do not intend to.

If the score is accurate then Estill just about knocked off Madison Central only losing 51-42 and we only lost by 19 to Montgomery County, not too bad. Usually teams that play ranked teams get blown out. Big Time

Got another comparison or two for you on Adair Co's behalf:

#14 Casey Co lost to Marion by 20 @ Marion (Adair lost by 17)
Casey Co beat Pulaski Co 64-56 at Casey and #24 Lincoln Co beat Pulaski 77-69 at LC...

Adair plays Pulaski tonight, and from watching both teams play last night, I'd be surprised if it were within 20 points (I could be wrong), but the game will be a good measuring stick for these three teams at least.

owen has a victory over walton and walton has victory over south oldham

I think Lexington Catholic has to be in there somewhere. They have wins over Anderson County, Paul Laurence Dunbar, and Butler, and their only 2 losses are to Mercy.

I think dunbar should be in the top 25
