Scott County's Guyn was in Tu Holloway's face, then put his hand on Tu's face. That started the shoving that resulted in the brawl. Yancy Gates smashed Kenney Frease in the jaw, where Frease went straight to the ground. Some PU$$^ for UC then kicked Frease in the head. That was the BS that made me ashamed of my Alma-Mater!
It was Cheikh Mbodj (never heard of him before) who kicked Frease when he was down
We played against Guyn in AAU back in the day.
Gates played in Pikeville at the KY Farm Bureau that is going on this weekend.
The brawl was pretty awesome.

^ You know, that crossed my mind. I expect that he will get an NCAA and Big East suspension that overlaps. If I am UC, I add more games to it. But, we know that iwll never happen! This was disgraceful and has no place in the game of college sports (or any sports for that matter)
Gates should be declared ineligible, and have his scholarship taken away.

I called it at halftime! I told my dad that they would fight before it was over! and well i was only kidding but they did! Gates is a THUG!!!! Should be suspended the entire season IMO... which i seriously wouldnt doubt it been that near that long. There was a cincy player over in the corner of the floor throwing punches and beating somebodys face in if you look closley. I suspect suspension for him too... Cincy may have to forfeit the season or get me, aslan, vundy, dusty to come play for them
That was a chicken shit cheap shot by Gates. Frease wasn't even looking when he hit him. Gates shouldn't be allowed to play again this year and neither should the little punk that kicked him.
Now I would pay money to see Gates and Frease go one on one in a street fight. That's two big dudes and Frease looked pissed while he was bleeding.

I don't care what any analyst says, there was no way the officials and coaches were going to prevent that fight from happening. Those teams were barking at each other the entire game and it was only a matter of time before they went after each other.
Both schools are embarrassed, Gates and Mbodj, maybe Guyn will get suspensions. Lyons will get suspended and I wouldn't be surprised if Xavier suspends Holloway for a game or two. I remember playing against Gates in grade school, watching him in high school, and he's still one of the laziest bball players out there.
Gotta love Cronin.
He said he physically took some of the jerseys off and nobody in the lockerroom had one. He is still trying to figure out who is on his team and who is off.
We will see what he decides.
