I was listening to the Scott Van Pelt show today and heard "You either make things happen or make excuses" in reference to a football discussion. I thought it was awesome.

Good quote: I think Doug Hall made the original something like "Don't make excuses. Make things happen. Make changes. Make history."

Heard this before. Love it!

I'm lost. What was the gist of the comment? I get the words, but what is the context!
