powell should have won this game. they have the much better team imo. two players didnt play due to one bein sick an the other benched for not being at practice. plust the refs in this were horrible called in favor of magoffin the whole night. good win tho not taking anything from them but itll be different when they travel to powell this yr

Refs were just horrible in general. They made bad calls on both sides.

Agree the calls were no worse than you normally get on the road. Just glad no one got hurt. There were three flagrant elbows thrown and only one foul called and it was only a personal foul call. Two loose balls on the floor and finally a whistle was blown 4 or 5 seconds late with lots of contact and bodies flying.
Powell didn't deserve to win the way they played, way too many turnovers and beat soundly on the boards. Powell learns to attack the press intelligently and get into a half court offense they will be much harder to beat.

the dennis kids elbow wasnt a flagrant bcuz he never touched the kid he flopped then laughed about it on the bench. ur right about the turnovers an the dennis kid does need help on the boards but when ur gettin held an no over the back calls doesnt help. powell did deserve to win

There doesn't have to be contact for it to be called a foul for throwing an elbow.
Maybe he needs to learn how to box out better and then he may start getting some calls.
And from watching them game; no they didn't deserve to win.

actually u do have to make contact for it to be a flagrant foul or its not rlly a foul.... duh.....
an for the fouls for blocking out an stuff ur crazy but u arent gonna get any calls on the rd in an out of region game an this was evident by the refs continued calling for magoffin. not takin away from them cuz they played hard but powell should have won

an riverside doesnt count they should b playing a jv only schedule. they had a couple kids out there playing that looked like they were in grade school still. i just cant wait til magoffin comes to powell then itll be different
