No Mike Wallace?!!
I'm glad mine and LWC's Texans has the top WR according to USA Today Big Grin
^Personally, I would flip flop Johnson and Fitzgerald. Either way you can't go wrong.
^ 2 very good WR's that play a big role in for there respectable teams
There are times that Roddy White looks like Jerry Rice. There are other times he looks like he's lost in a Rice paddy!
It's laughable that Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron, is not number one.
And how Wes Welker is not in the top 10.
Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald are #1 and #2. Interchangeable IMO.

If Andre could stay healthy he would super-scary numbers.

Wouldn't be in my top 10.... How does Wes Welker and Steve Smith not make it and Holmes and Bowe does??? Also I'm a Colts guy but I wouldn't have Wayne top 5.

IMO:
Top 10 WR's right now.

1) Calvin Johnson (DET)
2) Andre Johnson (HOU)
3) Larry Fitzgerald (ARI)
4) Roddy White (ATL)
5) Wes Welker (NE)
6) Greg Jennings (GB)
7) Steve Smith (CAR)
8) Reggie Wayne (IND) -- With Manning maybe top 5..
9) Brandon Lloyd (STL)
10) Brandon Marshall (MIA) -- Puts up number with anyone playing QB...
Welker over Jennings? Could u imagine the numbers Jennings would have if there wasn't a fantastic receiving core taking all his catches.

Now this is a great list.

Yeah, with all those great receivers around him, he gets single coverage all the time. Without that, his stats would go way down.
ekff, I like your list!!
Brandon Lloyd gets in there but no Wes Welker?!?!? And Andre Johnson IS NOT the best WR...it's clearly Calvin Johnson. But this season, I think Andre takes the #2 spot.

HE would have 10+ balls thrown to him a game. SOmetimes he only gets 2-3 passes a game.
10+ balls thrown into double coverage and without the caliber QB of Rodgers.
I think we should put Rob Gronkowski on this list just because he is putting up WR numbers right now lol
Guys, look at AJ numbers. Now look at his games played and remember that he always double covered. Look at the numbers again and think of how impressive they are.
You can at least argue Andre Johnson and Fitzgerald at #1, but Roddy White over the best receiver in the league? Calvin Johnson is the best right now. 8-10 are all too high also IMO.
Based on overall ability at the WR position not just this season's numbers, my top 10 would go:

1. Calvin Johnson
2. Andre Johnson
3. Larry Fitzgerald
4. Reggie Wayne
5. Roddy White
6. Greg Jennings
7. Brandon Marshall
8. Vincent Jackson
9. Wes Welker
10. Steve Smith
Calvin, Andre and Larry are a few empty spaces ahead of everyone else

In no order:
Andre
Calvin
Larry

everyone else.
This year, it goes like this.
1. Calvin Johnson

2. Andre Johnson
3. Larry Fitzgerald

Then 4-10.
Does anyone know what the votes were based on? Because if they were actually based on statistics, how can you deny Wes Welker???

WRONG! THIS YEAR Andre Johnson does not belong in the top 10. He has missed way too many games. This is coming from a huge AJ fan.
Still, when he's on the field, he's the biggest threat on the field 99% of the time.
If Johnson is on the field no one is better.
^Agreed. Healthy and on the field.
Unless Megatron is on the same field Big Grin
Watching First Take this morning and Skip said "Eric Decker wasn't a top 50 WR!"
