Last season: 3-22 (lost 52-15 to Anderson County in second round of 30th District tournament).
Player to watch: G Hayley Powell is the lone returning senior.
Other top players: G/F Lynsey Nichols (Jr.), G Katie Hudgins (Fr.), F Justus Martin (8th), G Jamie Bradley (Jr.), F Savannah Raizor (Fr.), F Mackenzie Raizor (Fr.)
Outlook: The Rockets are young, but the team has depth. âWe have 10 or 11 kids that can play, and we plan on rotating them in and out of the lineup,â Sowers said. Martin is a force on the boards, averaging 8 per game. The Raizors are 6-foot twins who will be powerful in the post. âWe will still struggle at times with ball handling and different instances when we play teams with experience, but we should be greatly improved from last year.â
