Coach: Mike Flynn (28-26 in two seasons at Highlands, 462-239 in 25 seasons overall)
Last season: 14-16 (district runner-up, lost to Dixie Heights in regional quarterfinals)
Key players: Sr. C Patrick Towles, Sr. G Carter New, Sr. G Sam Lewis.
Outlook: Towles, who averaged 9.7 points and 6.2 rebounds, and New will be late arrivals, showing up after the football team ends its season. Lewis is a good shooter from anywhere on the court after hitting 34.3 percent on 3-pointers, 45.2 percent overall and 73 percent on free throws. Junior Luke Turner is an improved guard. "We will have good size and athleticism and a good team work ethic," Flynn said.
