It looks like it will finally happen. LSU is #1, Alabama is #2, and Arkansas is #3. Arkansas will play LSU so one of those will lose. But still the 2 top teams in the country will both be SEC teams. I don't see how we can not have an all SEC championship game!
^Many people will be happy.

Quote:Thanks to a trio of unexpected results this past weekend, there's a good chance that two of the SEC West teams will meet in the Jan. 9 Allstate BCS National Championship Game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

Now the SEC, which has produced the past five BCS national champions, seems assured of winning its sixth in a row. The next two weeks will decide whether the Tigers, Crimson Tide or Razorbacks will play for the national title.

"It's a tribute to the quality of play in this league," SEC commissioner Michael Slive said. "I've often said historians will look back on this time and will no doubt consider this one of the SEC's golden ages."

Alabama, which lost to LSU 9-6 in overtime in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Nov. 5, might actually be in the best position among the SEC West teams. As long as the Crimson Tide defeats rival Auburn in Saturday's Iron Bowl game, there is a good chance they'll end up playing in the BCS title game -- even if they don't win an SEC championship.
Alabama can pretty much clinch a title berth this weekend.
Since they don't have to play in the SEC title game lol
Could you imagine what would happen if LSU lost?
For some reason, I see Georgia beating LSU in the SEC Championship.
LSU and BAMA rematch? Awesome!
What if:

Alabama lost to Auburn?
Arkansas beat LSU?
the SEC West rep lost to Georgia?

and... wait for it...

Virginia Tech and Stanford won their conference championship games?

madness times a thousand
Wildcatk,, I agree!!!!!

Then Georgia would be in the title game versus a scrandy.
That happened in 2007 when LSU won the SEC with 2 losses.
The SEC will absolutely be represented in the title game.
The only thing they can do is beat each other at this point.
And I don't think that really proves anything.

Edit: I have no idea what would happen, it's MADNESS!!!

ORIGINAL THOUGHTSad1) Arkansas vs. (2) Oklahoma State or (2) Stanford would be likely to happen.
Alabama loses to Auburn
LSU loses to Arkansas
Alabama loses to Georgia in the SEC Championship

LSU will beat Arkansas.
Bama will win.
LSU will beat Georgia by tree fiddy.

LSU vs. Bama for the title
