Last Season: 5-18 (34th District runner-up; lost in first round of Ninth Region Tournament to Newport Central Catholic, 63-33).
Key Players: Sr. C Sam Dedden (5 ppg, 5.1 rpg); Jr. G Darius Meiman (8.4 ppg); Jr. G Mitchell Kuebbing (6.2 ppg, 3.0 rpg); Sr. G Jeff Wischer (4.7 ppg, 2.3 rpg); Sr. G Connor McLaughlin (3.1 pg).
What's New: Faust will have a chance to reach the 300-win plateau as St. Henry coach this season.
Outlook: Season after season no coach in the area arguably gets more out of his players than Faust, and last season despite the Crusaders winning only four games in the regular season they upset No. 2 -seed Lloyd in the district tournament to advance to the regional tournament for the fifth straight season. St. Henry had a tough time scoring last season as it averaged just 49.9 points per game and no player averaged in double figures. Several returnees saw key minutes last season and in addition to the players listed above Faust is also expecting contributions from senior forward Alan Gripshover, senior forward Brandon Schwarte, junior guard Michael Best, junior guard Ben Hils and junior center Zach Carr. The key will be improving offensively.
