Congratulations to the Highlands Elem Wildcats for capturing the 2011 Cardinal Classic hosted at Sheldon Clark HS. They defeated Inez Elem in the finals. The other two semi-finalist were Flat Gap and McDowell. Other participants were Eden Elem, Warfield Elem, Mullins, and Dorton. A big thank you to the Inez and Warfield Shop-Rites for the sponsorship of the tournament. Our next big tournament will be Dec 3rd in a 6th grade tournament featuring: Martin County, Flat Gap, Porter, Pikeville, Highlands, Allen Central, Betsy Layne, and Paintsville. The tournament is sponsored by Giovanni's.
