Highlands again ended Newcath girls soccer season with a 1-0 victory. It's been a tough year for Highlands with a few injuries and more losses than usual. One thing hasn't changed, Highlands owns Newcath in the post season.
Congrats to both teams. That was a heck of a season for the Breds!
In the game I saw, I was impressed with Bertch, Birch(spelling) for NCC. Listed as a freshmen. Looked fast to me. Highlands loses both Weyer's I believe. Maybe Farley? Otherwise, I think most of those girls return. I look for Highlands to continue their post season domination of NCC for years to come.

Volleyball is an activity. Not a sport. It's for a less active lifestyle. Highlands girls are more active and keep in shape by playing soccer rather than moving 2 ft and pounding a volleyball into the ground.
