Collins is now 4-2.

I agree it was nice to see good sportsmanship from both teams throughout the game.
Led by Michael Brooks' running, and a dominating defensive effort, the Collins football team defeated Shelby County 39-0 Friday night at Robert Doyle Stadium.

The senior running back/linebacker rushed six times for 136 yards and three touchdowns - and also had a 10-yard TD reception - and added eight tackles for the Titans, who won the second meeting between the county's public schools for the second year in a row.

Sophomore DeAndre Farris also rushed for 126 yards for Collins, which rushed 44 times for 379 yards to dominate time of possession (31 minutes, 33 seconds). Maybe more impressive though was the Titans' defense, which held the host Rockets to only 32 yards of offense on 30 plays and 4:28 of possession.

Classy especially since they have had to play on Shelby County's field all year...

Anybody have any idea why Shelby County decided to split schools and give the whole region 20 years chance at revenge? Or at least why they decided to build one brand new school for all of the athletes and leave everybody else at the old school? I wouldn't think the old Shelby Co alumni are happy with this decision...
