The three Smackdown announcers, Booker T (big pop), Josh Matthews, and Michael Cole (boos and hisses!) came out to start the Smackdown taping.

Mark Henry delivered a promo about his "Hall Of Pain" and how Randy Orton would soon be entering it, He was interrupted by Zach Ryder who entered the ring to ask Henry too be his "Broski!" Henry said Ryder (who looked as thin as a sheet of paper next to Henry) "must have a death wish," and delivered the World's Strongest Slam to the unfortunate Ryder.

1. Mark Henry defeated Ezekiel Jackson. Ezekial Jackson entered the ring to take on Henry in the official opener. Henry won with WSS.

A promo for the main event of Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, was followed by another pointless, and awkward sketch of Aksana and Teddy Long.

2. Sin Cara beat Tyson Kidd. Sin Cara (big pop!) took on Tyson Kidd in another entertaining match. Sin Cara picked up the win, and then Josh Matthews entered the ring to ask Sin Cara about his "new aggressive style." Sin Cara responded in part in English, as well as Spanish, mentioning his kick to Daniel Bryan on last week's show. This brought out Bryan to confront Sin Cara. It ended with Sin Cara again attacking Bryan and locking him in his (Bryan's) own finisher the LeBell Lock! You have to wonder where WWE is going with Bryan after this vignette!

There was a Cody Rhodes video montage to promote his "champion vs champion match" against Randy Orton in the main event.

3. Kelly Kelly defeated Natalya (w/Beth Phoenix). Kelly came out to a nice ovation and picked up the win by countering Natalya's sharpshooter into a pin.

Christian came out demanding justice, saying the rest of the card was cancelled until he got "one last match with Orton." Sheamus came to the ring and forced Christian to slither away.

4. Sheamus defeated Wade Barrett. A very physical match won by Sheamus with a Brogue kick.

5. Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne defeated Jinder Mahal and Great Khali to retain the WWE Tag Titles. Mahal and Khali bickered with each other leading to Khali pushing Jinder right into the offense of "Air Boom," who quickly polished him off for the win. A disgusted Khali left the ring as Jinder went on a verbal tirade. This led to Triple H entering the ring (loudest pop of the night!), and delivering not one, but two pedigrees to Mahal.

Cody Rhodes then came to the ring to deliver one of his money promos, ripping Ted DiBiase, and praising himself. Randy Orton came out and the main event was on. A very good match, with near falls by both, until Orton connected with an RKO to get the nod.

Mark Henry then entered the ring and assaulted Orton with World's strongest Slam. Henry then grabbed a chair from ringside, and set it on Orton's throat, choking Orton nearly out.
