NVDaily.com is reporting that the information Kurt Angle and his attorneys previously reported, which appears to be the information sent to TMZ, showing that Angle had registered a blood alcohol level of 0.06, was in fact the result of a breathalyzer Angle took at Police Headquarters, and not at the scene of the arrest.

According to the report, Angle actually blew a 0.091 blood alcohol level, which is above the 0.08 legal limit in the state of Virginia, therefore making Angle legally drunk at the time of arrest.

Additionally, the story notes that Angle failed several field sobriety tests upon arrest. "The wrestler's first test, conducted at the scene of the traffic stop near Linden, came back above the legal limit of 0.08," notes the story. "On a second test at the Front Royal police headquarters Sunday morning, Angle blew a 0.06, according to state police." You can read more by clicking on the above link.

For reference, Woodstock is on I-81, 17 miles south of the start of I-66, which runs into D.C. Linden is 13 miles over on 66, so he was less than a half-hour from the fairgrounds, likely headed either to Dulles or Reagan airport, or DC hotel.

If he were driving "home", he woulda stayed on 81 North to around Hagerstown.
^ Great information!
So, the charges were reduced/modified to reckless driving because... the roadside test isn't reliable enough? I've heard about this before... being brought in, but by the time the "real" BAC is taken, it's dropped below the legal limit.
