Highlands is clear cut favorite, But Boyle Lex Cath and Cov Cath all real close and think any of them could be #2 at this point. We will get a good look at what Western has this week and where they belong. JC started out slow last year and came on strong, so I would not be surprised to see them move up the poll.
I appreciate your respect for Rockcastle County but they are not a Top 4 mountain team just yet. I could see 6 or 7 just because they have dominated all three teams they have faced but they have to prove it against quality competition. Perry County Central deserves their spot right now.

However, allow me to congratulate you on a job well done again.
These rankings are off. Franklin County is rank 6th in 5A by the Lexington Herald and these rankins do not even have them in the top ten. They are 3-0 this season with the latest being over Letcher Central after travling on a long bus tour. Frankfort should not even be ranked with the loses they have had this year but yet they are in the top ten. Anderson is ranked in the top ten along with Woodford, who have they played.

I agree that Franklin County should be in the top 10 easy.
'
As for Frankfort not being in top 10 I disagree. They lost to a 4A team that is 3-0.

I'd go with Frankfort at 6 after their win over SC. I also think Raceland is a little bit better than Harlan at this point. but overall, looks pretty good!

Well this aint the herald leader, but your point has been taken.
I cant do this without help and comments like these are what i need.

I respect your opinion PT but Harlan had 3 TD's called back in the Pikeville game that were all questionable calls. I'm not sure Pikeville beats Harlan on a neutral field. JMO

Does Lexington Christian belong in the top 10? They lost 51-0 this week to Christ Presbyterian TN this week. They are now 0-3 on the season and they have been outscored
128-32.

I thought about that one hard Norm and after thinking about it i know nothing of out of state schools so i didnt want to penalize LCA for that. Also, the rest of the class is just as weak IMO.
Its hard to pick 10 teams that "deserve" to be in the top ten when youve only got roughly 32 teams in each class and over half of them in each class have losing records.

One of these days you Rock fans are going to talk me out of ranking your own team higher than what you all think they should be, but not this week.
The Rock Perry game will decide a good measure of these rankings.

Didn't mean to step oon your toes, I didn't relize you were doing the rankings I thought you were pulling them off of a web site somewhere. I didn't also know that by posting that these rankings could be influenced, I figured they would be based on facts and records not public opinion.

You aint steppin on my toes bud.
I need the help and all the criticism i can get to do these every week. Its much harder than it looks. I refer back to opinions like yours to do my rankings with. If people want to see there team higher, they have to say something. I know nothing of western ky and northern ky teams except what i read or hear on here and what the record looks like on khsaa.
Your opinion went a long way and it will factor in to next weeks rankings. I'd like to consider this a ranking for the site but i cant do that unless more people get involved and share there input.
Thanks for the help.

Glad to help, Good luck. I know I would like want that resposibility. it is a hard job, but thanks for doing it. I completely agree with Bowling Green being #1 in 5A. LOL

Any way Franklin County is 3-0 with wins over a 6A Nelson County, 3A Western Hills and 5A Letcher Central, and I think later on Letcher Central will be making your top 10 but I agree that they do not need to be in there yet.
Except for the Letcher Game all their wins are by large margins.
