Could be an interesting thread, depending on what people know about La Salle. What does everyone think?
Where is LaSalle from?
La Salle (1-0) at Covington Catholic (2-0)

WHEN/WHERE: 1 p.m. Saturday at Covington Catholic

WHAT TO WATCH: La Salle broke in a new quarterback and several new skill position players last week by racking up 503 yards of total offense in a 42-21 win over Oak Hills. The Lancers’ balanced attack included 270 yards in the air and 233 yards on the ground. Senior quarterback Dominic Capano completed 25 of 36 passes, threw four touchdowns and ran for a fifth. Senior running back Antonio Nelson ran for 173 yards on 22 carries. The Colonels are led by junior quarterback Blake Bir who has completed 30 of 42 passes for 487 yards and seven touchdowns in two games. Bir has yet to be intercepted this season. Gabe Gray has rushed for 323 yards and five touchdowns, four of those scores coming in last week’s 56-35 win over Dixie Heights.

BOTTOM LINE: La Salle is the favorite.

Lasalle by 17.

Last year LaSalle did whatever they wanted to offensively and held Cov Cath's O to almost nothing- they also had a D1 QB at the helm.

The next day the Cov Cath JV played LaSalle's JV and the complete opposite occurred. Cov Cath's JV stomped an absolute mudhole in LaSalle's butt.

LaSalle may win (the game is @ Cov Cath) but I think it will be close.

A high school game at 10 AM on a Sat., I am sure the players and fans are going to be pumped up for this starting time. The players at CCH will never admit it, but they have to like Friday night under the lights games better than Sat. afternoon (or morning) games.
It will feel like a JV game. That's typical for JV game times
