LO needs to be out of top 10 in 4a

LO has plenty of talent. The score did not reflect the game play. They had several turn overs that PT scored on while PT was firing on all cylinders. LO had sveral key players out due to a theft ring that was uncovered. Tenth is a good place for them imo unless they cont to play like crap....

yea i watched it on ihigh, and if those players that got in trouble dont come back they wont be as good,thats why i said that..

WOW 3A has a team @ #1 that is 0-1 thats so dang dumb its not funny...
Bottom line is this, you lose you should drop! Don't matter who you played if you lose the game your ranking should fall.

Not saying once they start winning they couldnt leap frog back into #1 if they have played a tough schedule, but a team with a loss shouldnt be #1 when teams in the top ten have wins.

Central is the best team in 3a.

Seriously, you can make an argument for 1 or 2 of the teams below them either way, and that doesn't equal overrated...

Where are these rankings from? Is this the rankings from the AP?

I am surprised to see Sheldon Clark rated at #9 since they were beaten soundly, nonetheless by an extremely strong 4A Rockcastle County team.

I believe Rockcastle is a 4A team. Would that have any bearing in the determination of the ranking?

Your logic doesn't make sense to me. Rankings are not striclty based on record. Rankings are there to tell us which teams are best in relation to eachother. If a higher ranked team beats a lower ranked team, well that's supposed to happen, so why should the lower ranked team lose a ranking spot? Central lost a game they were supposed to lose, against the 3rd best team in 6A

You do realize this is the same Central team who has had a stranglehold on 3A despite a combined regular season record of 19-22?

When you go 19-1 in the post season and 33-1 vs. 3A competition you earn the right to hold your #1 spot despite dropping your first game by a couple points to one of the top 10 overall teams in the state.

Green County is a top 10 team in 2A in my opinion.

LO looked out of shape and was really missing their playmakers for sure..but after watching the tape i wouldnt say that PT was firing on all cylinders..They missed a lot of opportunities. Probably could have hung 70 on LO. Only 5 first downs and under 300 yds of total offense. PT usually has a strong running game and it was anything than stellar. Just saying....

Does anyone know how many of the Louisville Central O-lineman return to this team?

Actually, Casey County has 10 seniors, and I think the roster is at 24. That said, seven of those are freshmen. THAT said, I think you're right about SK. They'll be gone after Beechwood gets through with them this week.:flush:

Sorry don't see that logic.. If you are 0-1 and the team under you is 1-0 you should drop and the second ranked team should go up... Like I said later on if they are winning they can get that rank back.

Central may be the best team, but you lose rank should suffer. To me there isn't an argument against that.
