There are a lot of scholarship offers out on the table from all over the country for members of the Class of 2012 in the state of Kentucky.

And some are from college football powerhouses.

It’s a solid year for the state and in doing my rankings, I stayed with the same No. 1 prospects I had and that’s Dixie Heights quarterback Zeke Pike. The Auburn commitment had more than 30 offers when he committed to the defending national champions.

Here’s the top 25 in the class:

• 1. Zeke Pike, QB, Dixie Heights: He’s been at the top of the class for a while and in my opinion stays there for now.

• 2. Patrick Towles, QB, Highlands: Kentucky commitment is the grandson of Hall of Fame pitcher Jim Bunning and will compete in the prestigious Elite 11 camp.

• 3. Joe Manley, OL, Bowling Green: The 6-foot6, 300-pound Manley is a big-time prospect for the Purples.

• 4. Josh Harris, ATH, Mason County: Kentucky commit will do it all for Royals.

• 5. Anthony Wales, RB, Central: Could become state’s all-time leading rusher.

• 6. Mekale McKay, ATH, Moore: Best athlete in the class?

• 7. Travis Elliott, RB, Ryle: Hard-nosed runner committed to Western Kentucky.

• 8. Rob Lewis, OL-DL, Pulaski Southwestern: Really like the 6-5, 290-pound Lewis.

• 9. Jeremy Clark, DB, Madisonville: Big-time performer headed to Michigan.

• 10. Adam Wing, QB, Rowan County: Had committed to Marshall but is now committed to play basketball at Oklahoma State.

• 11. Vinny Miller, WR, Henry Clay (Cincinnati commitment)

• 12. Adam Reynolds, LB, Trinity

• 13. Thomas Chapman, DL, Manual (Kentucky commitment)

• 14. Daniel Ross, TE-DE, Jeffersontown

• 15. Joey Warburg, OL, Trinity

• 16. George Stone, LB, St. Xavier

• 17. Jalen Boyd, CB, Western

• 18. Drake Bruns, DB, Highlands (Cincinnati commitment)

• 19. Austin Sheehan, WR, Highlands (Kentucky walk-on commitment)

• 20. Tyler Combs, OL, Lawrence County (Marshall commitment)

• 21. Patrick Graffree, DE, Central Hardin (Kentucky commitment)

• 22. J.J. Jude, RB, Johnson Central

• 23. DeMichael Jackson, RB, Jeffersontown

• 24. Quintez Sutton, WR, Manual

• 25. J.D. Harmon, ATH, Paducah Tilghman
You have to add Zach Hester, the LB, from Boyle to the mix. He'll be heading to Navy in the fall.
